Vanilla extract, much like a fine red wine, actually improves as it ages. The flavor profile develops and smooths revealing an intoxicating aroma and taste. For FDA and trace-ability purposes, however, shelf life is stated as 1095 days from manufacture date. Manufacture date is listed as UDC.
